These are amazing! They remind me of the lo mein noodles at our favorite Chinese restaurant, and accompanied this mongolian beef perfectly. It also was surprisingly simple to throw together. If you’re looking for a great asian inspired side, this is it! Try these and you will not be disappointed.
Garlic Noodles
Ingredients
7 ounces dry Chinese noodles or spaghetti
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup chopped green onions
2 tablespoons finely minced garlic (about 2 cloves)
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
Directions
Cook the noodles according to the packages direction. Drain and set aside.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium-high heat. When the butter is sizzling, add the garlic and green onion. Saute for about 1 minute, or until garlic is fragrant. Add the brown sugar, soy sauce, and oyster sauce, mixing well. Add noodles and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
